My journey into social media management began at Toscanini, a cherished Italian restaurant located in the city of Franeker, the Netherlands. Initially part of the team as a bartender, my path took an unexpected turn when my academic pursuits came to light during a conversation with the owners. Toscanini aspired to redefine their identity beyond being "just a pizzeria".

The challenge
Stepping into my role as social media manager for Toscanini, I was met with two formidable challenges. The first was to navigate the restaurant’s ambitious rebranding efforts, elevating its identity beyond the confines of "just a pizzeria". The second challenge involved the creation and maintenance of a consistent stream of original and engaging content.
The solution
Removing a stigma, like being labeled "just a pizzeria," is a gradual process, and we are diligently working towards reshaping this perception. My approach involves broadening the variety of our posts. Instead of featuring pizzas consistently throughout the week, we now spotlight them only once or twice a month to diversify our content.
